Training and Development Specialist (Asia Practice) – Currently hiring
The Firm is currently seeking a Training and Development Specialist (Asia Practice).
Job duties: Assist in developing Asia IP Practice, develop training program/materials to help improve effectiveness and performance in providing consultation to Asian and domestic corporate clients on IP, patent law, and regulatory issues in Asia, especially China and Japan. Assess training needs and provide customized/updated training plan for associates and IP engineers in the firm. Must possess experience in corporate/IP practice and procedures in Asia including international IP laws, local IP prosecution rules and procedures in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Japan; providing training to patent engineers, attorneys and corporate clients, and excellent communication skills; supervising the development of IP training materials addressing IP requirements and issues in China and Japan. Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Law or Intellectual Property or related and 2 years of related experience as an IP Attorney/Specialist with specialization in Asian (especially China and Japan) IP issues.
