Mr. Ron Embry’s expertise includes patent preparation, prosecution, and appeals at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and at the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, as well as global patent prosecution. He also serves his clients through his invalidity and non-infringement opinions, agreements, and counseling.
Mr. Embry’s practice is primarily focused on the display, semiconductor, oil and gas, renewable energy, petrochemical, and geophysics industries. More specifically, his expertise includes semiconductor manufacturing, display manufacturing, renewable energy, solar panels, natural gas processing and cryogenics, gasoline, diesel fuels, biofuels and lubricants, polymers and catalysts, agricultural chemicals and surfactants, chemical intermediates, aerospace, and geophysics.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Embry was a partner at the IP firm of Patterson + Sheridan, LLP based in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Embry holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston. He achieved his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, cum laude, from Rice University. He is licensed to practice in the state of Texas, and before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
