Mr. Kanesaka earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering with a certificate in aerospace engineering from Rutgers College of Engineering.

Prior to joining Hauptman Ham, he was a patent attorney for Kanesaka Berner & Partners Patent Agents, LLP in Alexandria, Virginia. He is fluent in Japanese and English.

Mr. Kanesaka is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
